Bill Cranny

Bill Cranny has been painting full-time for over 16 years. He studied with Fremantle-based Ian de Souza, in France with Oliver Warman ROI, RBA and at the Claremont School of Art.

He paints in the colourist manner. He has received several awards including the City of Bayswater Oil Painting Prize. His work has been included in numerous group shows and he has had several solo exhibitions.

His work is to be found in private collections in Australia, Great Britain, Canada, Turkey, Spain and Venezuela. It is also held in corporate collections in Australia and Canada.

Almost all his work is in oils and he prefers to paint "sur le motif", although he sometimes works from sketches and oil studies.

Bill lives in Kalamunda.
