Colour and the environment are an essential part of my work and. I use a variety of media such as water colours, pastels, gouache, acrylics, photography and mixed media to express the essence of the south coast environment.
I have worked as a professional artist since 1972 and have held six solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions. I am presently working from my studio in Kalamunda, but often work outdoors on the south coast in the Fitzgerald River National Park.
In November and December 2007 I exhibited at the Mundaring Arts Centre. This work focused on personal responses to special places in the Fitzgerald Biosphere Region such as East Mount Barren, Barrens Beach, Mylies Beach and Twertup.
