Bernard OLLIS

Bernard Ollis has had a long and enduring career as a successful artist.  He studied at the Royal College of Art, London, the Cardiff College of Art and Design Wales achieving a Master of Art,  Dip AD and BA Hons from 1969 – 1976.  He has had numerous solo shows since that time both in UK and Australia.  His first solo show in Australia was in 1978.  He now divides his time between Sydney and Paris.  Ollis has numerous awards and prizes to his credit. 

 

His paintings have been collected by Artbank Sydney, Australian National Gallery, Bathurst Arts Centre, Bendigo Art Gallery, Castlemaine Art Gallery, Cultural Centre Valetta in Malta, Darwin University, Gold Coast City Art Gallery, Grafton Regional Gallery, Herald Sun Art Collection Melbourne, McGregor Collection University of  Southern Queensland, Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, National Art School Sydney, National Gallery of Victoria, New England Regional Art Museum, Orange Art Gallery, Parliament House  Canberra, Queensland Art Gallery,  Royal College of Art London, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, The Commonwealth Institute London, Welsh Arts Council as well as numerous private and corporate collections in Australia and overseas.
