Rindi SALOMON

Born in Sydney 1978

 

 

Rindi Salomon has had approximately 20 Solo and Group Exhibitions since 1999, predominantly in Newcastle (where she studied) and Sydney.

 

Rindi’s paintings and prints are geometric harmonies in celebration of life. She concentrates her works on design, tone and muted colour to create a mood. Rindi is a self - taught print-maker and painter and uses local imagery in her work.

 

Rindi’s subject matter mainly concerns the figure in an environment, usually urban.   The figures are disconnected they usually stand alone and when in a group, they face in different directions or are separated from each other. They are disconnected from our society, culture and the land itself.
